My Beloved Soul,
When the mind is still, the soul breathes. I want our quiet time together to refresh you. I want that silence to take you away from all that is tiring you, all that is distracting you, all that the world is wanting from you. Come into the quiet. Be still. Surrender your worries, your striving to figure things out, and let our quiet prayer time refresh you. Let your soul breathe you into my presence. I am here. O Lord, my heart is not proud, nor are my eyes haughty;......I busy not myself with great things, nor with things too sublime for me. ...... Nay, rather I have stilled and quieted my soul like a weaned child. ........ Like a weaned child on its mother’s lap, (so is my soul within me) Psalm 131: l-2
