We just finished walking our Majestic Galician Camino! A beautiful group of all ages. We bonded, we laughed and we cried as we entered into Plaza do Obradoiro. We encountered sore joints, heat rash, snow in O’Cebriero and perfect weather for walking. We walked 126kms ... 79 miles! We walked the Camino de Santiago!
The beautiful thing about a pilgrimage is you come together as strangers but leave as family! New lifelong friends. We encouraged eath other and listened as someone wanted to share. Our prayers were heard as we walked across Spain. Step by Step we made our way to Santiago.
Sharing a moment as we crossed a medevial bridge!
The joy of just crossing the mountain behind us and knowing we were close to our resting spot! Go Katie!
The lovely steps into Portomarin! This is after walking 15 miles, way to go Denise!
One of the many stone bridges along this part of the Camino!
Celebrating in the square, tears and laughter!
Getting our Compostelas!! A happy moment!
Everone hates when it must end, but now it’s time to take what we have learned and go home. Remembering to live moment by moment, step by step and knowing in our hearts that God is walking along beside us.

Saint James, pray for us that we may be willing to leave everything to follow Jesus as you did. Help us to become special friends of Jesus as you were. Amen
