"Walking in the way and the love of the Lord"
Your treasure is there, where your heart lies. Where is your treasure? Is it Jesus? If not, it is not too late. It is never too late to sell much, to sell all in fact, to find him and follow him. You remember what Jesus said of the treasure: The kingdom of God is like a treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field(Matthew 13:44). It is not too late for us to find the treasure. We must find it because we are called to help many people. We must be able to point out where this treasure lies. So you and I, each one of us, must come to him tonight and say: Here I am, Jesus. Speak, Lord, your servant listens. I am confused, I am poor, I am worried. There are dissensions and difficulties. Speak, Jesus, reveal yourself to me as you revealed yourself to St. Paul, to Martha, to many others, so that I may become an instrument of your peace.

Saint James, pray for us that we may be willing to leave everything to follow Jesus as you did. Help us to become special friends of Jesus as you were. Amen
